The new Saleen S7 is suppose to have a top speed well over 200MPH. The only one I've seen was at the Houston Auto Show but supposedly they've started building them.
Caravaggio does indeed make Z06 convertibles. His latest creation is a Z06 Grand Sport Convertible which can be seen on the C5 Registry. Its a nice looking car.
Thanks for the nice words Wayne. Like most enthusiasts, I share a love of all sports cars regardless of make. And we do have a common bond driving two of America's finest.
Darth,
When were you planning on heading up? Maybe we could caravan up there from Houston. I'll send you an email...
Justin,
Since budgets no problem, get the Viper. There are several tuners that can turn the wick up on Vipers to insane levels. But mods cost alot more than on vettes.
Justin,
Your going to get biased responses posting to either a Viper or Corvette site. If you want balls out performance with less technology and creature comforts, get the Viper. Also, Viper wins in looks and rarity department.
If you want a fast, comfortable daily driver with lots of tech...
Albert,
With the Viper B&M, do you have a choice of springs? In the Ripper for the C5, there are two sets of springs available, one being alot stiffer and tighter than the other. Not sure if this is the case witht the Viper or not.
