That's a good question that I have been asking myself as well. Just bought a set of Kumho's from PartsRack. Can't wait to get them on the car (snow will be melting away in the next few days). My runflats only have 4K miles on them and look like new, but the traction is really bad (due to age?)...
I've used the "Battery Tender Plus" for more than a year on the Viper (hooked up the cable directly to the battery terminals in the back as described above). I keep it on the tender whenever I don't drive the car (anywhere between 2 weeks in the summer and 1-2 months in the winter). No problems...
I agree, it was the perfect day for a cruise... And the back side of your yellow '95 really grew on me... We must do this more often.
P.S.: Glad we stayed within the legal speed limits at all times!

As far as I know, the warranty can only be transferred from the original owner to the second owner. It cost me about $100.
