    How to Repair Curb Rash

As long as the rash is on the very edge of the stockers, and doesn't reach to the larger flat surface, you will be fine if you don't go overboard sanding. I had some rash on my stockers and just used a dremel, then carefully hand-sanded just the repair area without trying too hard to blend...

Treesnake, Yours is the only one that looks good and not like some abomination stuck on the rear like an afterthought. Well done!

$$$ Control Arm Bushing Replacement $$$

You can buy Energy Suspension control arm bushings for around $30/side. If you don't want to press them in yourself (which can be done a few different ways), you could easily remove the control arms, take them and the bushings to almost any shop that has a press, and I bet they will charge you...

    Question for the Supercharging experts

I don't understand where your builder is coming from by saying that turbos would have less heat issues?? Turbos themselves produce a ton of heat, along with the accompanying plumbing, which makes an already hot underhood environment only worse. I think anyone would agree that the complexity of...

    short throw shifter questions

If you're installing a STS, not just a handle/knob, then it's best done from under the car, rather than drilling out rivits, etc., if done from the top. No need to drop the trans, just the x-member to lower it a few inches to have more room. Might as well install a poly trans mount since...

Will VIPER Continue? VOI Matters ! {long, please read for 'payoff')

I'm pretty sure that Dave was actually referring to Mopar products produced recently (though I could be wrong). Saying the best Mopar stuff you owned was from 20 to 40 years ago isn't the most glowing recommendation...

    Hurst Shifter "Problem"

Hey Adam, If the Hurst is taller than you'd prefer, you could always cut down the shaft, just make sure you leave enough threads to secure a knob. That's what I did when I installed a Hurst in my Z06. Actually, some knobs don't screw on at all, so you could actually cut off a decent amount if...

    Mechanical Gauge vs. Electrical

The only reason I ever ran an electric boost gauge (as opposed to a mechanical) was that I wanted a recall/memory function. Other than that, I can't think of any compelling reason.:dunno:

anyone in Va/Md that can help me fix my door?

Taking the door panel off is pretty straightforward. There's a screw at the front bottom, rear bottom, a few around the door handle, speaker grill (I think), then you sort of lift and pull the panel off. There's only one push-pin near the top rear of the panel that you need to pull out...

how to go back to "stock"

Does VA even do an underhood visual? The VA emissions website doesn't indicate they do. If so (here in MD they don't), you don't have anything to worry about in terms of the intake. Since your Viper is OBD-1, you'll be put on the treadmill for a sniffer test. Hi-flow cats might pass.

1992-2002 New spin on the old fan Radiator Fan Control Kit… Now fully adjustable!

When I installed mine a few weeks ago, I thought it wasn't working, too, but that was just because the temp. didn't get hot enough to start the fans. I checked the connections by jumping the leads on the sensor and the fan started right up, and since then, it has gotten hot enough to run the...

Gen 3 Roe Blower ready by VOI 10

That may be true, but the fastest STREET cars (and NMRA/NMCA cars) ALL run either turbo's or centri's, whether they be Mustangs, Vipers, Vettes, whatever.

Nice pic of my Viper I got in the mail

From what I understand, as a previous poster mentioned, the camera's don't activate until you are 11mph above the posted limit. I live in the county where the OP received the ticket (Montgomery Co.), and they are also using unmarked minivans (they say "Safe Speed" on the doors) to take pics...
