Dan,
Most people have been getting their factory crankshaft modified or "OFFSET" ground to increase the stroke of their engines. This allows the crankshaft to become very weak and allows for all sorts of problems...especially when boosted. This engine has a Steel MOLDEX crankshaft which is...
The pistons were 4032 Alloy/high silicon .... low expansion ... so even with some moderate heat in the piston the PW is still excessively loose. This will prevent the rings from break-in and seating over the long haul. Excessive crankcase pressures due to increased blow-by... If the pistons were...
Today's update!!!! :eater:
Since we have to correct the poor finish-hone work of the previous engine builder(:bdh:) as well, I spent the morning setting up the block in our 3 axis CNC in preparation to bore the cylinders straight this time as well as correct the bore centerline over the...
Here is a picture of the block on our CBN Surfacing Machine.
The new Oil Pump just came in as well... It has a diameter of 23mm vs the stock setup at 20mm.

Engine is coming along smoothly so far....
Just finished up blueprinting the deck surfaces to the centerline of the crank. We used a precision BHJ block TRU-ing fixture mounted on our High speed CBN surfacing machine. We had Rottler MFG send us some precision ring collars to center...
The rated HP is a relation to the amount of volume 1, 2, 3 or 4 pumps can output. The amount of cylinders and/or injectors does not have any affect on this output unless your injectors are too small to deliver the amount of power you are trying to output from the pumps.
There is alot more...
Spoke with Doug last night about this...he says that he has nothing to fit. The only flywheel he recommends is the Mopar Performance flywheel made by Tilton. So, I called Tilton, it's a Mopar Performance ONLY part... And the price tag is $850.
Aries-you should probably look into this stock...
The best remedy is to get rid of the non-return style fuel system and upgrading to a return style performance system. Drawbacks are increased emissions , cost and increased noise. Emissions are normally out the window when boosting a factory naturally aspirated car anyway so I don't think anyone...
