The wiggle in the NW 1" kit is in the base bracket. It is just a flat bar for the rear mounting points. If you weld another flat bar on top of that bar so that it forms the shape of an upside down T then it feels much more solid.
Atro how can you say its the welding if you haven't seen the fault. If the tubing is cracked around the weld it's the tubing that failed not the weld. If the weld cracked off the tubing or the hanger, then its the weld. Without seeing the actual piece it's impossible to tell. That being said...
I also had the same problem in my GTS. The dodge dealer checked the car out a dozen times, but they never found anything. When I switched out my exhaust and cats to highflow's and corsa, the smell disappeared. Try checking the insulation between the cat and the side sill.
BadVenm, what were your dyno numbers? Who did the final tune on the car, as that tune could be the difference between 12sec and 10.5sec. If possible when you go to the track bolt on a set of ET streets you'll see better times then on your 18's.

lleone,
I got an email from Scott last night. Seems to be working hard trying to get everyone's cars done. Try sending him an email, that has worked best for me. Leaving messages on the phone takes longer to get a response.
