False. I have disassembled engines that sat for nearly a decade. They STILL weren't dry. I would not even consider trying to re-oil an engine that didn't sit for at *least* 3 years. Current oils are NOT old oils.
And what you are describing... ABSOLUTELY DO NOT EVER DO THIS.
You CANNOT prime a...
Your credibility slipped a bit when you claimed the M1 filters use anything but a synthetic media or stainless components. The cases on the Viper filters are nowhere near as stout as the M1 filters.
You can be as disappointed as you want to be. I have seen the insides if the Viper filters with...
Dont recommend RSI "Dangler". No surge function. They are horribly unreliable at lower tank levels.
You dont realize how bad most of these fuel systems "upgrades" are until you log them with high speed data recording systems, and watch them fall on their face consistently.........all while you...
If you absolutely come up empty... I have all of these controllers, modules and fobs in stock, as well as a DRB3 OEM scan tool w/G1 cables & cards, and am within a remotely doable driving distance for a house call.
I also have the ability to alter G1 code, but primarily stick to prom duplication for repair work as I dont deal with G1 cals enough to be familiar to the point its economical. I refer all the G1 calibration requests over to you guys.
That said... if in the future there was ever some kind of a...
As pointed out above, the Viper does not use an FPDM. It is a combination return/dead-head system, with the return function being located in the module itself, and the dead-head section running to the engine.
2 out of 4 things I asked you to do involve no more than your ears and the car key. One needs a generic code reader. The last can be fudged with a 12V LED side marker bulb available at autozone for 4 dollars.
Rise to the challenge, or hand it off to someone who does it every day. Digging into...
Yes, on some years. On others it will just illuminate... so its not fool proof.
If anyone has any other direct questions, feel free to ask... but my unsolicited input to this thread ended with my comments going unanswered.
Apparently, people enjoy struggling... nothing new there!
Easy tests:
Turn key ON.
-Fuel Pump Prime at Key-On?
-ASD Relay Self-Test at Key-On?
-Plug in a code reader. Able to scan?
If the answer to all those is NO, and you have power and ground at PCM Connector C1 Pin 2 [Run/Start 12V], 22 [Constant 12V], and 31/32 [Ground]... PCM is dead.

There is no way to build a proper calibration without 98% street driving, and 2% dyno time. The vast majority of condition and feel cannot be done on a dyno, and WOT tuning is the simplest portion of the file to produce.
Never had an issue... but I wont tune VE altered [HC/SC/TT] remotely, especially not ones I never built... and anyone who does is doing lots of guessing and assuming.
The issues are also HPT limitation related, not SCT... unless you dont know what you are doing of course... which is fairly...
