Hey Mike,
Looks like you can update your sig now...you've already got the car! ;)

SlowC5,
Sheesh! I'm still waiting for ride in your C5, and now you go and buy a new Viper? Wow! Well, congratulations to you!
Hopefully now I can get a nice comparison ride in each?
Steve T.
I see that I actually made it into this post (one way or another). ;)
If anyone has any specific questions about MKIV Supras or their potential, I'd be happy to answer them for you. Vipers and Supras are both awesome cars...the difference is that Vipers roll off the assembly line already...
As long at the stock internals are stout, I have no problem believing that. A stock Supra will go from 300ish rwhp to 600+ rwhp without upgrading internals. If Porsche is building them stout, then I'm sure the same can apply there.
I hope the race actually goes down, and I think it will be a lot closer than many of you Viper guys expect. Just as you respect Hennessey's abilities as a tuner, I respect Sound Performance (who built and tune Marko's Supra). I do agree that whoever doesn't break will probably win because both...
Chris,
It is people like yourself that make me want to officially join the Viper community. Bravo!

Jon B,
Does this mean you moved up to Tacoma, WA? If so, that makes one more verified Dodge Viper owner near me. I'd love to meet you sometime and check out your car, if you ever have time available.
I'm definitely impressed, although I was a bit nervous after just seeing the photos yesterday. Who can argue with more power, better handling, and less weight?
Steve
Well, being a Supra owner, I can tell you that there are lots of antagonistic personalities on the Supra forum, but also some pretty decent characters as well, of which I hope that I am considered one.
I did get a chance to meet some Viper owners today and they were extremely nice, very...

I road race my Supra and am looking forward to sharing the track with a Viper GTS or two to see how I stack up.

Unfortunately, comments like that are only due to the fact that the people writing the review aren't automotive enthusiasts. Only someone who simply views a car as a way to get from point A to point B could ever write such...
Hello Viper guys and gals!
I'm curious if there are any members on this board who live in or near Seattle, WA? I've never ridden in a Viper and would really like to take a ride in a GTS.
I'd happily trade a ride in my single turbo Supra for a ride in a Viper. Let me know if you're in my area...
