viper owner here just checking in to let you guys know that when i click on "edit avatar" in the "user CP" section that the site won't let me edit my avatar in anyway whatsoever. as you can see i don't even have an avatar. also the site doesn't give me any options to edit my sig.
Y2K5SRT and big-n-italian thanx for the help. now that i am listed as a viper owner i am still having problems. when i go into the "user CP" area of the site and then go to "edit avatar" it is not letting me do anything. there are no options given to me to allow anychanges whatsoever to my...
i have been a member on this site since december of 2001 with over 1500 posts. i went into the "user CP" section on this site and updated my "profile" info in order to get my "owner" status back because the site is listing me as an "enthusiast". i gave my vin # info and the site is still listing...
yes i am a viper owner and was listed as so on the previous site. as you can see i have been on the site since december 2001 with over 1500 posts. in the "user CP" section i updated all my info even giving the VIN # to my car. what do i do now
man that was one gnarly wreck. i don't see any skid marks and from the looks of whats left of that car he must have been doin like 100 mph. the road is very straight and they said that the trailer has been parked on the side of the road for 2 weeks off the road so i am not sure how he hit it...
ViperGTS - thats a sweet lookin ride you got there. sometimes you guys overseas get different versions of japanese bikes that we get in the states here.
never owned a honda CBX. but i have raced against one with my motorcycles at the drastrip before. pretty cool bike. i think my yamaha V-max is a pretty cool engine in a streetbike. i see that jesse james took a small radial airplane engine and built a custom chopper around it recently. very...
the reason that the ford GT was only made for the years 2005 and 2006 only was because the cars body design would not meet the new federally mandated crash test standards set for all new cars starting in 2008. in order for the GT to meet those specs the cars body design would be so radically...
bought mine sight unseen from john elway dodge in denver during the summer of 2001. it had 52 miles on it when i picked it up. i drove it home 1000 miles
the hayabusa is the measuring stick by which all others are judged thats for sure. the busa is one bad bike. i gps'd 178 mph on my nitrous injected honda CBR-929 when the engine blew on me. if the motor didn't let go i had the gearing to go 185 mph. 230 mph in my ford GT is my goal now.
the reason for the gear change is because it puts my shifts points into a more advantageous spot on the road courses i race at. as far as acceleration is concerned yes the car accelerates quicker with the lower gears. the downside is that this puts more torque down to the ground when exiting...
one must also take into account the differences in overall rear tire height that these cars have. the ford GT has the tallest rear tire height of any of these cars. therefore its 3.36 rear gear ratio faces up much more overdriven than it would in a gen-2 viper as a result of having an overall...
the ford GT's CD is the same as gen-3+ viper coupe at .39 > with that said i believe that the ford GT makes for a better car with respect to high speed. it has a 8 inch longer wheelbase. the motor is in the back and the center of gravity is more favorable to high speeds. both the front and...
adding more power will acclerate the car faster and give it a higher top speed both. a gen-2 viper is geared to go 202 mph in 5th gear at 6,000 rpm's. the new 2008 viper has taller rear tires and a higher redline, so i am gonna guess that it is geared to go 212 mph at 6,300 rpm's. but again you...
