I just purchased smaller ducts for the rotor.. I figured I would say that to the size I need.. I'll let you know how it works out. Its worth a try for $20.. I'll pass on the shrouds that are silly money to me
Sorry wasn't clear...I was implying to eliminate the duct shroud and just have the 3-1/2 hose just poke its nose out...would this significantly reduce air flow?
WOW Great Stuff thus far...perfect!! Question what if I just use a hole saw and cut opening (about 3-1/4") from the rear without taking front fascia off push hose thru from rear and bed hose to rear fascia? Just a thought?
I wanted to buy a cone kit but Jon B is out and No replies yet from Henry Cone. I've been researching and it seems the area underneath the fascia is positive..I was thinking about putting a NACA vent behind fascia pointing down and then connect with 600 deg hosing from the top to the...
I've owned my own company since 1991. And I pride myself for delivering the product promised with no hidden strings.
Jon B and PartsRack have a customer for life not only me but obviously a lot of people. If you want a Viper part if not the best price damn near close to it...if you want the...
I had your exact same problem after I recently replaced my power brake booster...when I re assembled the brake pedal (clip) the brake light stayed on...drove me nuts. Finally I physically pulled the plunger out with some minor effort. The plunger kind of ratcheted out to full length. After I...
Good info...so on my Gen II if I plan to use a basic can (no offense to Daves can just too expensive)do you guys think its best to return back to the CCV, dead end, or return back to air box. And does the can need to be vented?
Sorry to prolong...I guess ive researched too much and over...
Thanks for the Pic..The Gen 2 has a CCV which performs the same function as a PCV. It says in my manual that the CCV meters the amt of crankcase vapors drawn out of the engine...when the eng. is running, fresh air enters the engine and mixes with the crankcase vapors. Manifold vacuum draws the...
I appreciate all advice..I think I will take the lines in to the puke take (vented at tank) and dead end there. Besides a little vacuum I believe that by hooking it back up to the airbox would only give the engine a "chance" to ingest more dangerous gasses etc. Am I wrong with my logic?
I agree with Dave...I had the same problem it was the switch..I would recommend replacing as inexpensive as they are due to the fact the plastic console trim is flimsy and best if you take it off just once imo(if you clean the wires, switch etc it may work but most likely wont last---no offense...
Thanks for the input...I believe I read that putting it back into the airbox is bad for octane and intake. I was wondering what most people do?
And is the odor that prevalent? if you dead end it?
Okay have read every thread on this for a couple of hours (would have been nice to see Damn Yankees Pics..I researched that topic too..hope it gets rectified. My questions:
1. Am I correct that the system should be a dead end and NOT ran back thru the airbox?
2. Is it better to run each...
I welcome all recommendations, however I have no personal experience with any companies...There seem to be a few recommended companies out there. My question is does anyone have a good recommendation of the manufacturer of the tint? Seem that that is just as important as the installer?
Thanks
LOL Yep It puts a bulls eye on my back for sure...love the look but seems the "Statey's" like it more...local police never harrass me..but I don't need continual tickets...time to change
Thanks for the leads in Richmond..nothing her in Williamsburg..and a short drive to Richmond or the beach is just a bonus..hate to get rid of the dark glass but this seems to be a magnet on top of the viper.
Officer was nice and said if correct both before court it will be dismissed.
Well I managed to get (2) tickets from our friendly state trooper(s) on my way home to Williamsburg after our lunch...(1) for nor front license plate and (1) for too dark tint.
We were discussing both prior to kart racing and I had to open my big mouth.
Can anyone recommend a GOOD tint...
My name is Lee Blanding (Kart name "Predator") I drove the 02 GTS final edition red with white stripes.
This was my first local event and I just wanted to say thanks to all and I look forward to attending more. It was great to meet everyone and their awesome drives!
Glad we won!
