I agree with Mike, go with '98+ tubular manifolds or M&M headers into the stock exhaust. Both will drop weight and M&M will make actual power gains.
Ticon/Vibrant mufflers that fit in the side sills do nothing.
Get a billet pump impeller/rebuild.
While you're in there:
power steering pulley & mount
check idler pulley resistance/free spin
billet steering rack bushings
mishimoto hoses
belt
Not an awful time to go with silicone heater hoses since there is no fluid in the system. If you're debating a...
Zero issues going 14/13 or 14/14 on any GEN2. ABS cars regulate bias, so no need to be concerned with that.
My personal favorite setup is Brembo GT 6 piston (I run 14" rotors to clear 18" wheels, but 15" rotors are available) and move stock fronts to the rear.
KW hydraulic lift is the better option than stanceparts air lift for the Viper with the tight clearances. There are pros/cons to each. But the easiest install on Viper is going to be KW. If anyone is interested in either system, message me for details.
Picture of KW on a Penske for reference
If you haven't swapped to K&N filters and smooth tubes, it would be an easy time to do that. Like said above, anything pulley related would be easier with radiator out.
I replaced the HVAC after doing the entire system - one sprung a leak. If you are emptying the entire cooling system, I would...
Nothing will touch pre-Covid pricing. I work with Stanceparts for air lifting cups, but it will be a very tight fit as they are designed for MacPherson. There is also KW hydraulic lift, which alleviates the width issues, but reduces the ability to go LOW with most coilovers.
If you want...
I have Giro GEN2 front rotors and brembo parking brake. Easy swap. If you want to go BIG, you can get rear brackets & move current front to rear and go Brembo 6 piston on the front. Parking brake becomes a little issue.
Message me if you have questions.
Ship to a Viper shop.
Get other stuff done while heads are off (porting?, 1.7 rockers, cam?, M&M headers, motor mounts, injectors cleaned, plugs, wires, etc.)
If it is not a mechanical issue with the slave, change the fluid in the clutch reservoir. It is likely contaminated (Viper does that) and if old, heat can make the fluid useless.
Easy way - use a turkey baster, empty reservoir, wipe it down with a microfiber cloth. Fill. Put cap on. Pump pedal...
DEI heat sheath should allow you to run it in the same path as the headers.
*FYI* If your o2 sensor wire tears/rips it will pop the ECU fuse and you are stuck. If that happens, unplug the o2 and put a new fuse in. The car will run in closed loop.
Reducing cabin heat soak is the biggest issue. There are some things that can be done to reduce it fairly easily:
1. Get a car with aftermarket headers or factory tubular manifolds (I believe they are from 1998+)
2. Replace cats with a modern cat - new EPA & CA compliant are more efficient and...
Girodisc is a great option for track use as they are a 2 piece design and have vanes to extract hot air out of the rotors. Brembo pads are also a great option, but they are very dusty compared to other brands (Stoptech, Hawk, etc.). I am a fan of Hawk HPS 5.0 for street & track use, but you...
Mine failed too, just not as extravagant of a failure, but left me on the side of the road.
If you have not already replaced your PS pump pulley, now is a good time.
These were discontinued on wholesale product lines and unavailable for around a year - I started making brake lines to fill the void - and recently they have been brought back in limited quantities, so shops not paying close attention will likely not have them available.
