This car looks bad ass in red. The tail lights are growing on me. Interior doesn't look as good as the Viper but if they sell these for $53k? Pretty damn appealing!
Re: Will the similarity between the Gen 4 and 5 motors lead to the code being cracked
SRT will provide the aftermarket modifications (the ones that count) and probably slap a warranty on it if installed by a certified Viper Tech. Just my guess.
Since when did buying a car, that is hardly driven that much during the year, where 15,000 miles is considered "high mileage", make economic sense?
This is a TOY for many people, not primary mode of transportation. I could either pay $50k cash for a Gen 4 in a year or $50k for a Gen 5 and...
I was thinking I might look into buying a Gen 4 maybe in a year, hoping the prices might come down some, but after seeing the Gen 5?...... Gen 5 all the way.
1. It is immediately identifiable as a "Viper"
2. It has a better motor, suspension and drive train
3. Interior is light years ahead of ALL generations of Viper
4. In a world of mandated fueld efficiency, we still got a V10.
5. It is stiffer, wider and lighter
6. It has MORE power
7. The...
$55k is a pretty good deal for a 650HP car with 2 back seats. I read the gearing was left tall in the first few gears to help mitigate the torque. This GT can hit over 60 mph in first gear just like the Viper.
In your market the convert would be preferable I would think. I personally prefer the coupe. IF I were you, I would buy the cheapest lowest mileage 06 Coupe I could find and then supercharge it if it wasn't done already.
I think I know the Silver vert, is it in CO? If it is the same one, I...
Just sitting in my garage collecting dust. 3.55 gear set in it. Approx. 13,000 babied miles. I also have complete MGW interior bezel set (chrome) guages and A/C knobs. also have piano black face plates for gauge pods/radio and cup holder/ window switches.
Oh, and Harmonic Damper/ crank pin...
I got a 2012 Hemi Overland and it is my 3rd Jeep GC. It is by FAR the nicest, quietest, best riding and most comfortable Jeep we have ever had. I had an 04' Limited and 08' SRT8. I got all the goods except adaptable cruise control. I will tell you
that the fit and finish is just a tad lacking...
I did just get it in May, the future of my business is not as certain as it was in May for me. It is my 3rd car and certainly not a neccessity. The car is as close to perfect in every way. I forgot to mention it has the Gen IV hood too.
I may keep it, I don't know. Just trying to gauge interest.
I have a black 2006 Coupe with Paxton S/C kit in it (polished) Approx 14,000 miles. It has Corsa Track exhaust, Pilot Sport tires, Gen IV rear end with 3.07 and will come with the original Gen III rear end with cryo 3.55 gears already in it.
3M clear bra in front, quarter panel front and...
