    Are you running the stock cam? Less than 500 to the wheels with gen4 heads is almost impossible unless your missing some spark plug wires or something. I assume you have had it tuned?

    Just a little plug here but Arrow has the powersteering bracket for the gen 2 to gen 4 conversion. I just picked one up and they are working on a completed gen 2 to gen 4 kit.

    Loud noise after head/cam swap

    since you put new engine mounts in maybe the exhaust is hitting the body or frame. When you first start it up it will run a little ruff until it warms up then it will smooth out so maybe the excessive vibration during warmup is causing the exhaust to hit the frame/body.

    I don't get the hatred for the gen V from viper owners. I personally have not driven one but I think it is everything a Gen 2 person would want. Its the styling of a Gen 2 with Gen IV power and miles ahead in comfort and finish. I don't see me getting rid of my GTS but I definately want its...

    I am not trying to make someone buy a certain part but I will say this, I just got done installing the NAPA part a couple days ago and in Texas heat I can finally run my A/C in traffic and temps never go over 190. Also remember that it is the factory part that failed. Just food for thought.

    Yeah, I am the one that posted on the alley and got my NAPA pump in 3 days. Works perfect.
