What is the consensus on what an 03 Viper with cats removed and replaced with high flows, K&N air filters, stripes by Chiminenti (painted under clear coat), SRT -10 in perfect shape would sell for if I were looking to make a very quick sale (24 - 48 hours)? Picture by my name. 8300 miles. :usa:

I'm not asking for offers or an auction. I'm asking for numbers being
experienced by VCA members, or information they are getting from others
I'm trying to get an accurate picture of the street value for my car,
assuming it to be in the shape I state, and I'm testing the information
that there is no market for SRT-10s at this point in time. Apparently,
I didn't post properly to get that advice.

"Gotta sell it now" value is not "street value", historically it can be 5-15K below street value. I do not have a Gen III example, but I do have a recent Gen II example:

2002 Red RT/10, less than 10K miles

gotta dump it now value as it went in the classifieds - 38K (sold before the day was out)

street value for this car is 45-50K

Someone got a great deal, will drive the car for five years and sell it for what they paid, or will be padding their bank account with a 45K-50K resale.

See I told you 45k was a good number. So lets deal.

You are looking in the mid to high 50's, depending on how fast you want to sell it. Also the stripes will also play a factor since many people will not want them although I love them. Immediate sale is somewhere in the LOW 50's. Good luck!

No experience in used car sales.
Because i'm an 03 owner I have been watching the market, somewhat.
I would have to say 50-53K would be a great deal.
If i sold mine today i would want 58K. Come summer 60K
Mine is silver with 7K miles stock.

Good luck

Here is the post sale history from the largest auto auction in the US, you could take you're car to a smaller privately owned dealer and he would probably run it for you, figure between his fee and the auction fee you're looking at $800 in fee's.. but you could have the cash instantly.

I've been buying and selling cars and bikes for 20 years ... And I can say that unless the market is intense, you don't come out well when looking to sell a car in 24-48 hours. Why the rush - And is it worth missing out on a minimum of $10K in your selling price?

I've got money burning a hole in my pocket for a silver SRT/10. 03-05

I emailed a guy on his best price for a 03 with almost 10K miles on it, and he's holding firm at $65,000.00????

My buddy just bought an 05 copperhead for $64,000 last month at the orlando auction.
I don't mind paying a little extra for a one owner Viper but I don't want to get my pants pulled down over the price.

Thank you, all. I've had a few inquiries on PM about it being for sale, and the Viper is gone. I've gone retro, with an 88 Ferrari Testarossa. If I can figure out how to upload photos, I will.

CONGRATS!

A TR has always been a beautiful automobile.

Did you get the "only" correct color?

What's that old "rule of thumb" saying.........

Ferrari tune-ups.......$500 per cylinder...... x 12......yeow!
