In the latest Car and Driver they ran a 0-200-0 comparo.
Before they tested the cars on the track they drove the cars around to get an idea of their usage as a daily driver, and to burn off any possible cheater fuel in the tank.
The Viper from the Texas tuner had 1,033 Horsepower and not only was "remarkably civilized", but they observed 20 MPG driving it around.
It was the least expensive vehicle in the test and thundered from 0 to 200mph, and back down to 0 again in 30.7 seconds.
Who says you can't have performance and be eco sensitive at the same time.
