1 owner or 2.... carfax experts anyone?

Hi, I may be picking up what I believe is a 1 owner black GTS. However, the carfax (courtesy of ASPIRATIONS... thanks again!!) says there were 2 owners (the first listed as "a commercial lease vehicle"). The seller, who seems straight up, says he leased the vehicle (for personal use) and then bought it outright at the end of the lease.
Does this sound reasonable, or does this raise any red flags for anyone?

Not sure if it helps, but when I first got my 96 RT/10 I leased it under our company CEO's name, then later purchased it at the end of the lease. So in my case it shows 2 owners, even though I'm the only driver.

Makes sense to me, but I don't know jack about that, so it might not help you that I think it sounds legit!

Yes, he is being straight with you... On paper, its a 2 owner car... The leasing company purchased it new from the dealership, then he purchased it from the leasing company, hence 2 owners, and 2 title records...

Yes it sounds legit. Many privately owned cars start out as leased units where the lsee ends up buying it outright.
