19\" tire disappointments...

So here is the dilema...

Michelin only makes a 345/30/19 for the rear. Which is a tall sidewall, 4.1" to be exact. For the front they have both a 275/30 (3.2" sidewall) and a 285/30 (3.4" sidewall). In my opinion the larger sidewall in front would match up better. But the problem is everyone I have called are out of stock on the 285's and according to tirerack the 275's are soon to be discountinued.

Now Pirelli makes a 355/25/19 and a matching 295/30/19 in the P-Zero Rosso collection, which I think is a little wider than it needs to be, but both have a 3.5" sidewall. Cool. Only problem is the front tires, the 295's, have the red "P-zero" labels on them, while the rears, the 355's, don't. Closest they make is a "no label" 285/30/19.

It's like evrywhere you turn nobody has exactly what you want. What a pain! Anybody else having the same issues...

Re: 19

I ran into the same problem. First had 295/30's on the front, then got some 275/30's. I had asked for some 285/30's, and was told it was a different tread (some BS). The 295's looked too big for the front, and the 275's looked too small. I don't think the larger sidewall will be a problem with the 285's.

Re: 19

bwhitmore, why don't youm just get a 345/25/19 Pirelli P-zero Rosso for the rear instead of the 355/25/19. The 345 has the red "P-Zero" label on it if that's what you want?
