Buy the oil at Walmart (Mobil One, 10W-30 -- you'll need 10 quarts) and take it to your Dodge dealer. Let them use a Mopar filter (after all, it's what the factory recommends), which they will have in stock (it fits Rams, Intrepids). It shouldn't cost you more than $25, since you're supplying the oil. Or, if you've got to have a Mobil One filter, go to Autozone and get one. The part number is M1-204. The Mopar Performance oil filter is a Mobil One filter, and it comes in a box with a GTS-R on it. I doubt the dealer will have that in stock, though. Why not take up one of these guys' offers to use their lifts? You'll meet some other Viper owners and take care of maintenance at the same time. If you lived in Northern Virginia, I'd be making the same offer.
Yeah, yeah, I know -- the Mopar filter *****, etc. I use the Mobil One myself. But really, there are a lot of knowledgable Viper guys, including some racers, who are using the Mopar filters. And the factory recommends it, so I seriously doubt you're going to hurt the engine by using one.
