I am looking at a 2001 rt/10 that had been in a light accident right front end but has a clean title not salvage. The guy is asking 45k obo the car has a little under 10k miles on it. Any help I would appreciate.

Soryy forgot to ask the questions. Is the car worth this much given the history and would I have a problem selling it in a couple of years? Thanks!

What does "light damage" mean? The front end can get expensive. If the price to fix is more than $1k, then I would say just get an 01 for $50k... much easier to sell a clean one...

If done correctly it shouldn't be a problem. However for resale might want to check carfax first. If it is not clean it will effect resale. BTW the factory has very tight tolerances on frames after they are hit. Suspension points within 1MM and other reference points 3MM. May want to check how accurate the repair was. If it was hit even slightly in the front it probably hurt the frame. The front frames on these cars are REALLY thin. Good luck

Sounds like a STEAL if was fixed correctly, and the damage was in fact LIGHT!

If the shop fixed it, maybe they have pictures of the damage?
