2002 ACR for $60K obo

This may sound fishy but I found a 2002 ACR (Grey w/o stripes) 8xx miles for $60K OBO.

There is no listing for number or address... Carfax shows 0 records so it must be a new car.

On a side note, I also found a 2001 GTS Yellow w/ 1700 miles never been titled selling for around $59K. How do these deals sound? It seems like a good price but wasn't sure how it compared to rest of the market.

A 2001 ACR sold for 53k a few weeks back. Someone on this board bought it and had it shipped back from Loveland, CO. It was a good deal if you ask me.

Deals are all over the place and will continue. the "winds of war" will keep people from buying and sellers cutting back on expenses. That fact and about 10 other factors will keep the market very soft.

Just make sure you check it out. Also see if it is a "buyback" from DC.

Definately something fishy about the ad. I contacted that guy through email asking for his # and he wants me to set up a escrow account in order to prove that I am serious about the car! I replied that I would need his phone # in order to discuss the car and before I sent any money anywhere. This reminds me of a lady in Canada that wanted me to do the same thing for a Murcielago at $189,000! She wouldn't leave me a # either. Think I better pass on this one.

Yahoo classified is the WORST place to buy anything from. I buy just about everything online and the only time I ever got ripped of is when I bought a 90 dollar golf bag off the yahoo classifeds. Forget about yahoo, only yahoo post on those classifieds...
