This is a long explanation, and a bit of an odd one.

Full disclosure: there are already (2) interested parties on this car, though at different stages of completion.

I have a Viper up in NY that I am trying to liquidate this summer. This is a legacy project, and thus, has some weird attributes. It was a Red 2004 Vert with about 40K miles that was taken in trade on another project years ago, building the guy a replacement with a donor. It was damaged from an accident at the time, driver front corner. It was *NOT* totaled, and it is *NOT* a salvage title. The engine was removed, gone through, checked, and mothballed. The car sat in storage disassembled for years, as back burner deals and time accumulated the parts to fix... at which time I started transitioning to FL, and this project was left in the lurch. I have been working on it when I am up there, getting everything accounted for.

Now, here is where things get interesting. The car that was damaged was Orange at the time. The Orange panels were all removed, and transferred to the donor car. The Red donor body was removed and saved with the damaged car. Due to some deals back then, and my inability to cut a corner even if I wanted to... I opted to not just repair this car, but "erase" its repair history. By that, I mean that this car does not have a single repaired part on the entire car. If it was damaged, it was replaced. Period. So what does that mean? It means that I have a "car" sitting up north that has a COMPLETE brand new frame. BRAND NEW inner fender structures. BRAND NEW headlights. Radiator. Condenser. Fender supports... there is not one single "repaired" part on this car, and its construction is 10/10... as per my typical insanity.

So, basically, this car could either be built as is, for a stellar literally like-new possibility of a 2004, or, it could be a dismantlers wet dream, or a rebuilders ideal parts-bin. Since the frame is brand new, it has NO VIN stamp. If you remove the Windshield Frame and Drivetrain, you could use the understructure to repair any Gen-3 car, and without random mismatched VIN's lurking.

Currently, the car is coolant lines and fluids away from running. Goal was to get up there, get it running and driving, and get the rest of the body located and fitted. I believe there are maybe (2) unpainted panels in storage if I recall... fascia and driver fender I think.

So... trying to figure out options. Option 1 is to get it all fitted, and sell it as-is to a dismantler or someone who wants to finalize the paint and/or change colors, details, etc. Option 2 is to get it ready to move, and bring it back down to FL to finish out 100% and sell as a completed car. Not really sure which way I would prefer to go. This is kind of an odd situation because I know full well what just the "new" parts content sitting on this car is worth, so I certainly have no intention of bending over... but it would be nice to have some options.

Lastly, car has two sets of wheels and tires. Both OEM. One powdercoated Bronze, and the other is factory. One set of tires has decent tread but was shredded from the track [not this car] and other set of tires are brand new and not yet mounted.

Might be good for one of those chain wearing Jersey kids, it looks so close that it would be appealing to someone up there. I just got rid of 2 projects, basically had to dump them and just walk away. I am coming to realize that quality time with family is more valuable that parts and cars................. Unless we are in the car driving together.

Good luck with what ever way you go Dan.
