2008 Amp location - Drive/Pass side?

I'm needing to order seat lowering brackets but need to clarify the amplifier location on the '08s. Jon @ PartsRack said that one of his customers installed a 1" on an 08, stating that the amplifier was under the drivers seat (but Jon could not confirm, 1st hand).

Would you that have 2008's please clarify this? Thank you in advance.

Try calling one of the dealerships that have/had some 08's. Bill P., Roanoke, Tator, Ringgold, etc.

I just spoke with Mark @ Woodhouse and he verified the location. The amp is STILL on the Passenger side. Thank you Mark!!

That would of sucked if they moved in to the drivers side.

The amp is still on the passenger side, but there is now (for 2008) a bracket and module under the drivers seat as well. It is called a "Gateway" module. Probably have to relocate it if you are trying to lower the driver side seat.

Jon B's customer install a 1" lowering bracket. The customer stated that he didn't think that there would be any way for the 2".
