Has anyone fitted -8 fuel lines to their engines in order to get more volume to the manifold? If so where did you fit them? Can you fit the line on the back of the manifold where the plugs are?

It might help a little bit, but unless you do it from the gas tank and have a low restriction fuel filter, you might as well go with a return fuel line system.

I think the size of the stock fuel line is less than a -4 AN

Your restriction is still going to be the plenum's internal fuel rails along with your injectors. Becareful pusshing too much pressure on the injectors, they can go static on you. You might want to look at doing a FMU system like what Paxton does for their fuel system. (if you plan on doing force induction)...for na, get a larger fuel pressue pump.
