93 Windshield Wanted

Need a windshield replaced for a '93 RT10. Help needed in finding a windshield.



Wow, what a trip. Just cruised from WI to Aspen, Vail, Bryce UT, Zion UT, Las Vegas, and Los Angeles. No problems with a car which had 50,000 miles on it. It now has 55,000 miles on it. The only issues were a broken snake head key, broken door handle cover, and of course in the last 500 miles a chipped windshield.

I lost my windshield just the other day. I called my insurance company. The deductible is a good investment. Call Chuck Tator for the windshield if you want to do it on your own.

Have owned this car for several years now. Have logged over 35,000 miles on it without problems. This last cruise took 11 days and on the last day a stone hit the windshield.

Also, I'd advise that if lowering your car is in the future, don't try and see America in it. The roads are not built for lowered vehicles. One strange comment from a Viper fan "what a shame to own such a car in America". We met a family visiting from Germany during our travels through Zion National park. They said the Viper would be more at home on the autobahn!

Other than that a very nice 12 second long distance cruiser.

For those who may need a windshield in the near future. I found a dealer here is Wisconsin who obtained a new factory windshield and installed it for $450.00 including tax! Quite a savings over the cost received from the dealers, Jon B. and other glass installers.

I have a new factory OEM 93 windshield for $300.00 plus crate charge.

I got mine replaced (1993 with windshield antenna)last week.
I called the local windshield guy. He istalled it in my garage for $400. Dodge dealers will not install it, they call the same company. I checked this with Chuck Tator. Had something to do with the liability issues.
