Hi Guys,

I've been approached with a business opportunity that I can only explore if I sell my car. I know it's a bad time of year to be selling but the price will reflect that.

I have a 96 B/W #1147 GTS for sale in Winnipeg Manitoba Canada.

Completely Stock, not even smooth tubes
Brand new set of Michelin tires, 0 miles on them
Bra and Cover
23,500 miles on the car
This is a very clean, unmolested 96 (Remember the 96 has the lumpy cam and stripes that go right through the license plate area).

I bought this car in May of 06 from a 66-year-old man in Michigan, it is in beautiful condition and I'm only selling cause I need the money to start a business.

I'm looking for Mid to Low $50's Canadian dollars.

One thing that might be hurting you to is how strong the canadian dollar is right now. Mid 50's canadian is 50K in american right now.

How does one know what their production number was for 96 GTS'?

No way of telling. They did not go sequentially so from what I understand you can't go by VIN #. I believe from the door panel you can find out when the car was made but that is as close as you will get.

And in regards to the above post about mid-50's Canadian dollars for the 96 GTS, isn't there 8 Canadian Pesos to the American dollar?

In response to knowing the production number there is a small decorative aluminum plate on the lower part of the rear window which states Hp, torque and production number. I realize this plate is aftermarket and don't know any more about the origin of the plate, it was on the car when I purchased it.

The plate is held in place with two sided tape and can be removed very easily if required.
