96 RT/10 Custom exhaust

I just acquired a set of Belanger headers, and am planning on doing a custom 3" exhaust.

I'm considering using two Moroso Spiral 3" mufflers per side (one to replace the CAT, the heat is pretty intense at times):

Then use the Random Tech 3" muffler delete rear assembly, which also has an x-pipe design, which should eliminate drone:

Considering the stock 96 RT/10 has only one muffler total, I believe this would be a pretty good setup, not too loud (OK for loudness a WOT), but with a nicer sound then stock, and adding some power.

Has anyone tried anything similar? If it runs too lean, can this be adjusted (would need a VEC1/2 I guess?).

Let us know how you like the Moroso Spiral mufflers. I have the Corsa cat back with stock cats, and am thinking about replacing the cats with the spirals; primarily to reduce the side sill heat.
