one of my mates who I've known since I was 5 years old rang up (so 20 odd years of knowing him :D ) this afternoon out of the 'blue' he spotted a 28K miles 97 GTS on autotrader. My relentless viper fun stories must of made a mark over the years!

It a known car where some of its life was part of a high grade supercar experience where you drive x6 sporty motors in a day with an instructor, so the price reflects that, some $17K below mint UK prices. Its had very frequent servicing and supposed to be maintained to a high standard. Its fairly standard with just a roll bar and fire suppression system installed

a bit of a poor advert but its on ebay too

a few phone calls later and we are off for a viewing tomorrow am, anything in particular to look out for on a 97 ? apart from the usual stuff.

1. Early 97's had cast wheels, they changed to forgings in late 1996.

2. There was a TBS on bad intake gaskets.

3. There was a TBS on the gasketing/trim on the top of the door.

Recall 998 and some 97's needed a PCM flash for the radiator fan.

Eye ball down the frame rails to see if it's straight!!

What is the flash for the radiator fan for? Are they supposed to come on earlier?
