Sadly, it all depends on who built the motor. have the shop selling it do a leak-down check to see if all cylinders are in good shape. Was the paxton kit ever installed on it?

going rate for a NON-chrome/carbon-fiber car would be in the low 40's. if the motor is in good shape.

my .02...

The paxton was partly installed when the owner died, and what was installed was removed according to the seller. He said that the car dynoed at 625, but didn't know if that was flywheel or RWHP.

Joe, what is a 3 yr old never installed novi 2000 paxton (chromed) worth?

that car looks odd to me for some reason, as if somethings not right about it. Could just be the picture.

The color looks closer to a saphire car in one of the pictures. Either the lighting is horrible in those pictures or that car has been painted. Either way the pictures aren't helping it move any faster. It's also proof that carbon fiber can be overdone :omg:

Just checked and the ad says it sold...

Further research indicates that it went for ~$38k(!!) to a guy on the Corvette forum in PA who is no stranger to fast cars (he has a BEAST of a Z06). Now it looks like he has a BEAST of a Viper to match!

I ran across this one on another forum a guy at work told me about, apparently 38k was what was owed on the car, and thus the shop just wanted to break even on it. Someone got a great deal.
