A Celebration Of Speed & Design

Viper is now an official mark for this event, along with Ferrari, Lamborghini, Corvette, Pantera and Jaguar. We have always had good representation at these events in the past and now we are an official sponsor. The NJ Club has become the official liason for the Pocono Memorial Day event. If you haven't attended this before, it is one you do not want to miss. It is held on the beautiful grounds of the Pocono Manor, Pocono PA. The Saturday and Sunday concourse is filled with millions of dollars worth of cars from these manufacturers, and we get to run against some of them on the track. This year we are looking for cars to be displayed on the concourse along with these imports. There will be judging for our class and trophies will be awarded. Please keep in mind you can do either of these events, show or race your car, or BOTH. If you are thinking of doing so please let us know early so we can get some kind of head count.
Monday is the track day. There are requirements and tech inspections for cars that will be participating.

Without a doubt, you can bring whom ever you want, tou do not need to race or have a car there. They have a championship golf course, a day spa for the ladies, tennis etc. Check out www.poconomanor.com

I learned tonight I'm going to Florida that week.

I'll have to see what I'm doing. Works hand in hand though, if I do go down I'll get to visit all the shops!

I was reading through some of the info for this event and noticed a statement that said convertibles had to be equipted with a roll bar to be alloud to race. Does this eliminate SRT-10s, or is the factory roll-over protection acceptable? It says right on the car's safety sticker that the roll-over loops are not a roll bar.

Hi, You will be allowed to run with the factory hoops. Please make sure you have a fire extingusher mounted in the car also, it must be in reach of the driver.

Bobby, you're getting me nervous. What are you talking about 6/10 ? This is all Memorial Day weekend, track time Monday and Tuesday. I'll be thre early Monday for both days.

You are correct Andrew. CSD starts Saturday and Sunday with the Concourse and Monday and Tuesday are the track days.
