Hey guys,
I decided to pull my ACR 5-point harnesses out and give 'em a try today. I have a question about the shoulder belts. Is the metal 'buckle' that controls the length of the belt that goes through the hardmount supposed to be behind the seat or in front of it? I'm tall so I sit with my seat all the way back. I've got these rectangular buckles as close to the hardmount as I can put them, but they're kind of pinched between the seat and the plastic trim piece that covers the hard mount. I'm afraid they're going to either scar up the plastic trim piece or they're going to wear a hole in the seat. Where do you have your buckles? If I've totally confused you and you need pictures, I can take a few.

Thanks for your help.

Sorry to BUMP....just looking for additional input. Was also wondering if anyone has a good source to replace these belts with a "bolt-on" replacement. Mine had gotten wet and were mildewed. I got 'em pretty cleaned up, but I might replace with Yellow belts to match the car.

Thanks!

Don't really get what you mean. The buckles should be contacting near the seat. The shoulder harness top parts fit through the seat top hole. The center bottom buckle is through the legs. The other buckles come in from the sides. Wear should not be an issue. I use the factory units.
