Well, here's an update, I flew to St. Louis, MO to check out the viper from an owner with 5 vipers total. The car looks immaculate with less than 3000 miles on it. I was surprised that the he did not even know how to turn on the headlights and running lights of the SRT, but he said he has so many cars, that he gets confused (I counted 11 total). The AC unit was not working and we guessed that it had something to do with the bolt/cam warranty work. He would not let me test drive it, so we were only able to look at it, and turn on the engine.
The next day, he took it to the dealer, and they had the AC fixed yesterday. Apparently when the bolt cam was repaired, part of the AC unit had to be taken out, and now there is a leaky or faulty O-ring. That is fixed.
Financial papers are being overnight tonight and funding should be by early next week. Shipping will be next week with A-1 Transport who quoting only $1150 for closed transport. I should receive by early December, huh?
