I am in the process of putting on an aluminium flywheel and clutch with a short shifter on my car. What might I expect with these changes over the current stock set up. Faster acceration? Quicker response out of turns? ?Increase in horsepower? etc. Please give your opinion.

Thanks,

John

I am sure the company who sold them to you can provide real-world Viper info ? ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ; )<~

General answers: YES - YES - Maybe (+ RWHP due less driveline loss.) Less rotating mass is usually a good thing.... But Drag racing launch technique will change drastically

I noticed that the flat spot in the seat of the pants seemed to all but go away. Seems like it was spooling up easier. A noticable difference, in my car. I'm not sure if it made me faster, but I liked the way the car drove better after the light flywheel was installed.
