Am I losing it?

Was looking to add a Viper to my SRT Ram and was interested in a fixer upper on ebay....what am I missing?

It was in a wreck has a damaged hood and is still $40k reserve not met???
I guess I still don't have a finger on the pulse of the viper market because I was sure it would go under $40k. Who knew...

The biggest thing is it has a "clean" title. so somebody buys it for $42K, fixes it and sells the extra hood. When they go to resell the car, they aren't going to tell the perspective buyer about the past history and depending on the market, may get $50K + for the car. Looks like a bastage, don't it?

I guess I didn't think the car was worth over $45 to begin with......
