Explaining Viper things to you
I know there's been plenty of GTS owners do amplifier upgrades. I'll assume that the OEM din cable from the head to the amp was no longer adequate in many if not all cases.

So my question therefore is how was the new wire or cable routed from the head (dash) to the amp (trunk)? Under the carpet all the way? Under the car down along the tranny tunnel?

good timing for this question. I am having an Avic N2 installed in my ACR, the installer said he needed a DIN to RCA cable to avoid having to cut into the DIN cable on the amp. Having some issues locating the correct one tho. Also having problems with backup cam, seems the Pioneer camera leaves a large gap in the keyhole and the installer is unsure of how to patch the gap?

I Just Had My System Installed. View Custom System 99 Viper 650r Thread. The Rca And Amp Wire Were Run Down The Tunnel Along The Tranny Inside. The Tore Out Apart My Center Console Between The Driver And Passenger Seat. I Thought That Was Wierd Usually Had It Run Aolng The Doors. They Ran It Between The Two Seats On Both Sides.

I ran mine under the driver's side carpet. Had to remove the interior trim panels behind the driver seat, and the driver's side panel in the rear hatch area, but it was a piece of cake.
