Add my name to the long list of Viper owners who purchased their cars from Woodhouse Dodge. I met Bob Woodhouse at Viper Days at Road America last August and Bill Pemberton at VOI-6. Both are genuinely nice guys. At that time I knew several people who were looking for Vipers, but I wasn't in the market myself. But when I did decide recently to move up from my 97 GTS to a 2001, Bill Pemberton was the first guy I called.
I can't speak enough praises about how smoothly the whole process went. I first spoke with Bill about two weeks ago, looking for a yellow GTS with black stripes. He said he had one coming in shortly that was available, so I put a deposit down on it. Last Monday he called to say it had come in, and it was delivered to my doorstep this past Friday. Pretty impressive considering that the time elapsed from my initial conversation with Bill until I had my new car was 10 days! The whole process was painless and everything went smoothly.
I've followed this message board for almost three years, and as the end of summer rolls around each year, there are always a few posts from people with Vipers on order from their own Hometown Dodge who are still waiting for their cars, and they're panicking because the summer is slipping away and they're still Viperless. This is why it's better to purchase your Viper from a high-volume Viper dealer like Woodhouse who knows Vipers and who has a sizeable allocation of new cars.
I enthusiastically recommend checking with Bill (800-889-1893) before making your purchase decision.
Oh, by the way, this is my new Viper:
