Any After Market Clutch and Flywheel Suggestions?

It looks like in 6-12 months, I will need a new Clutch and Flywheel. Does anybody have any suggestions of a good aftermarket clutch and flywheel. I figure if I have to replace them I might as well get something better if such a thing exists. Also, what advantages would be gained to an aftermarket clutch & flywheel?

Also, typically, how many miles (not tracked) will a clutch & flywheel usually last?

Any light someone could shed on this would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

I believe Fidanza has a lightweight flywheel for our applications which will yield less rotating mass on the crank. This will also increase quicker revs and throttle response.

Spec clutches offer several variations of clutches for your specific needs.

Good luck in your quest!

Great! Sounds good. Thanks.

One question, what kind of HP gains would you expect to see with a lighter flywheel? I do realize a lighter flywheel reduces rotational mass. Therefore, increasing HP. However, is it significant?

It is all about a trade-off. If you change a clutch the feel and flexibility of the OEM clutch will not be easy to duplicate.
