Any comments on WHEELWAX product

It looks good, but I just use the same wax I wax the cars with and it helps with the brake dust and gives the rims a shiny new look.........

I tried my car wax, but prefer Mequire's swirl remover for some reason. Maybe it cleans up those fine scratches?

I have chrome wheels and I use my regular car wax to keep off brake dust. I think that any reputable wax will protect your wheels in any case......IMO.

I know that any "wax" will not last long with the heat that wheels generate with brakes, etc. Regular wax is too delicate for any type of longevity as it fails or melts at a fairly low temp.

You also want to avoid any type of chrome or metal polish as Viper factory wheels are clearcoated...and these type of polishes could damage the clear.

Treat them as you would the other painted parts of your car. I use the "Z" word (avoiding starting a war) polish on my car and wheels. According to tests like Guru Reports, it's the longest lasting product available. (A real plus on wheels) They are much easier to keep clean this way.

Using the Z products is what I have been doing and works fairly well but I am always looking for improvements. Thanks for all your comments.
