any friendly dodge dealearships that could run a VIN for me ??

Hi All
just wondering if any friendly dodge dealearships could run a VIN for me
it is a car i may be interested in buying and bringing back to the UK
i have the carfax report , but the advice from some people at the UK viper forum is to run the vin through the dodge computer aswell
so if there is anyone out there that could do this i would be very very gratefull
