Re: Any HRE 540\'s for sale

Being a poor Texan I'm thinking someone is wanting to upgrade to 19-20" and wants to sell their 18"'s. The 18" tires are less expensive and I think the car looks good with the 18"'s. I'd like the 19"'s but trying to stay within a budget.

I have some 18" 546's in my garage that are my friends. I do not think he wants to sell them but are you maybe interested in them?

This guy is not willing to budge on 8500.00 either...He is never gonna sell them.

You've seen my car, Roadking. Those 546s are my favorite. If you bought those, we could have twins! We could call each other at night and see what each other are going to wear and stuff. That would be sooooo cooooool.

If I ever upgrade to 19s, I'll make you a deal.

What are 19" HRE 547R's worth?

Can anyone out a # on them? With or without tires (1k miles on the tires/rims).

Thanks (and sorry for the hijack).

Re: Any HRE 540\'s for sale

I purchased my 18" fully polished 540's with tires with about 2000 miles on them for $4500 a year ago. (Then turned around and sold my factory 18's with tires for $2400. Not a bad deal for $2100 out the door.)I would figure a good set of used 19's could fetch $5500 and up with a nice set of tires, maybe even more for the R's or for chrome.

Unfortunately my 18's aren't for sale anytime soon. I absolutely love them and the proportions are perfect on the RT/10 when you lower it a bit with the Eibachs. The 19's fit very nicely on the GTS body style with the same suspension set up.

Hey Nate, by the way, this is the silver RT I bought from your dad last October. It is slowly getting modded from it's bone stock garb, but I tell you it sure is a clean car! Tell him thanks again.

Glad you are enjoying the Viper Brian. I will have to try to see it next time I am in your area. Thanks for the heads up on the 19's.

Re: Any HRE 540\'s for sale

bwhit - how about a picture of your car with those wheels on it?

opnwide - you know it has always been my childhood dream to grow up and be like you. I figured if I can't drive faster I'd try to look cooler. I'm thinking of adding the HID kits also, so I should be able to out **** you! :headbang:

Yeah, that was my Z06 with the dual bottles in back. I spent quite a bit of time building that kit. It pulled 463rwhp and 495rwtq on the bottle.

I sold that Z06 though a while back to get married, buy a house, and later to buy the Viper. I miss it, but I have to admit even with all the mods I had done to my Z06, the Viper still got more attention bone stock.

I have plans for my Viper too, but one thing at a time right now...
