Anyone ever replace the convertible top?

Might be worth a call to one of the parts suppliers. I've used Michael Nouri at XVipers and have had good luck working with him with very reasonable prices. Actual replacement is very straight forward, does not require any special tools, and would only take a couple of hours.

Would have been nice to have had a baseball bat handy and caught the bastag that did that.:mad:

Pricey - roof cover is about $1700, plus labor to install.

Is that price just for new cloth reusing the old frame or is it for the whole ball-o-wax?

Someone was selling a complete top on ebay from a salvage car claiming new tops cost over $10,000.

That was the cost I paid from Mile One, for just the cloth, I reused the headliner & frame was all OK. I had a puncture, hard to tell if it was accident or vandal.
