Just need to ask since I'm fairly new here. I worked amongst the powertrain and chassis design team for about a year in 2000 on Featherstone Road (when it was simply called the Viper group) and work was being done with Prowlers. Since then moved on, supporting DCX (various platforms in Auburn Hills), then Ford, and ended up moving up here. I remember lots of good stuff back then, but always maintain confidentialty (it's a small world). Now working for a Motorsports company which did most of the Viper race body work, GTS-R stuff in carbon fibre, dampers, etc.

Let me know, I remember supervisor names such as Pete G., Jim S., working alongside / supporting Mike C., Ray S., etc. Al F. was a good friend (and neighbor), who retired, tested Vipers since the early days of no door handles and side glass.

Mike

You guys let me bring these type of M-plates home on the weekends for evaluation (over the border too)..

You might get a PM, but don't expect a reply to this post from any current FREC employees: There is a very strict DCX policy regarding posting on public discussion groups as a DCX employee, especially as one working on the product that the forum caters to (Viper). There might be a few folks that post here from DCX, but as Viper owners and not DCX employees.

Posting otherwise can give them serious headaches from within the company - and from inquisitive forum visitors ("you work at SRT? When is the Viper going to 900HP? Can you rush my order? Paint my car pink? Have Lee Iacocca sign the hood? Get me a pass to Mopar Nationals?")...
