Hello everyone,
Almost three years ago I made my own side sill covers out of brushed aluminum. They cover the entire flat black surface under the door when it is closed. Anyway, after three years of getting in and out of the car they have become a little scratched up. Instead of refinishing them I decided to make a new set. THe machine shop I do business with will give me a better price if I can do some volume. It looks like I can make them for around $140.00 + shipping for the pair if I can get some folks on board. That will include both sides and the same double sided adhesive that has held mine on for almost three years with no problem.
Installation is a piece of cake. Clean the surface. Take out the black caps. Test fit it to make sure everything fits up then remove the wax paper from the double sided tape and stick in place. It is completely reversable and really looks sharp especially if your sills are a little banged up.
I need to give the machine shop a quantity to cut so please let me know if you are intrested. Sorry I didn't post any pics but I will try to get them up as soon as possible. They look very similar to the ones that sell for $250 to $400 elsewhere. If you want to see pics just email me and I will send them to you.
