Appraisal?

Hey folks...anyone ever been urged by their insurance company to periodically (every couple of years) obtain an independent appraisal for your snake? If so, who did you have do it? My agent suggested it because of the mods ($15K) to my RT/10.

Sorry Mark, I've never heard of that. Did they offer to discount your next premium by the amount of the appraisal? Sounds like a no win situation. If it comes in higher, they could raise your premium. On the other hand, if you wreck it, they may not give you anything over book. There are a few agents on this board- hopefully one will see it. You may want to title a different post with 'insurance' in the heading. Good luck. MK
