Hey everyone,
My one buddy use to have a 00 GTS. He had some left over parts lying around that were never installed on his car. He said he has a pair of Roe Racing Hi-Flo Cats for the viper and I was wondering if these are them? See image below. I have a 99 RT/10 and was looking to buy them off of him, but would like to know first if these are for the viper. I looked on Roe's site, but I cannot determine if these are the same. Thanks for the help in advance.

Yes, pretty sure he uses brown packing tape. No, I'm definitely sure.

Really though, I remember Jon B at Parts Rack telling me Sean's HF cats use heat shields and those have heat shields. What is the pipe diameter?

dave6666,
I'm not sure what the pipe diameter is. If people on here are sure they are for the viper, whether they are roe or Sean's HF cats, I'll still buy them off of him.

rpm9000,
See that's what I thought. I was looking at the Roe web site and it seems that their cats are round, these are more oval shapped.

Did they change the design of them over the years? Would these still fit under the sills?

I think that the oval shape comes from the heat shield and that underneath is a round cat. If you tap on the outer metal does it sound kinda thin? Or look at the edge does it look thin as compared to the pipe wall thickness?

BTW you could always send that pic to Roe and ask him. ;)

yes they did, and they look like them, but there are many different ones out there,

check the dia like dave said

look inside, are they ceramic or stainless :dunno:

either way, make sure you get a killer deal or pass on them, imo

They do definitely look similar to the one's in the photo. If my memory serves, they do sound kinda thin when tapping them, def thinner than the attached pipe. I'm guessing the pipe that are attached to the cat are 2.5 or 3" in diameter.

He said he would let them go for $150. They were never used as the pics indicate.

PartsRack also used to sell this cat option pre 1999.......Note the ovoid shape of the universal cats and seams......it is critical when mounting them to get the 11am-5pm orientation correct on this seams, or they will touch inside the insulation or sills. Double-check clearances before you finish the sill install.
