Here in Pa. when the weather is good, april thru october, I like to do as much driving as time permits. All my sports cars over the years have been strictly for fun, not daily drivers for work or running errands. Just out of curiosity, how many miles a week do you guys put on your Vipers in the name of FUN? I have never bought a car and stored it in the garage or trailered it around. I've always driven mine. That being said I put on any where from 50- 300 miles average a week. I know that's a pretty big spread but some times we get a week when all it does is rain. I would say I average 200 miles weekly in the good season. If you can chime in. This is just for fun. Thanks! :2tu:

Well, I don't know about you, but driving the Viper to/from work makes it fun. I average around 200 miles/week when its not raining. "Winter" here means rain, not cold, hence a bit less Viper driving between October and April. I average prob 8k-12k miles / year.

Don't you share Ohio weather? I go weeks without even looking at my car. It seems like it is raining or threatening to rain 6 days a week. The good day is always a day that I'm stuck at work. I just finished off last years gas a week or two ago. Miles per week, I wish. :(

60,000 miles in just over 6 years of 6 month seasons. Some of the 6 months is between snowflakes. Roughly 400 miles per week. No work miles. If we had a 12 month driving season, I guess I'd have well over 100,000 miles in 6 years.

38,500 miles in three years and three months so that comes out to be about 988 a month or about 250 a week over that period of time and I have loved it ever since!!!

Started driving it 32 days ago, logged 1050 miles divided by 32 gives me 32.81 a day, times 7 equals 229.69 per week at this rate in a year I'll probably have driven a total of 2,756.25 miles. I'll let you know if the theory is any-where's near accurate 11 months from now. :p

PS: F355 your averaging 35.16 miles a day, 246.12 per week, 984.48 a month or 11,813.76 per year. :2tu:

Interesting! Just driving an extra 3 miles everyday adds 1095 miles to ye old odometer! :curse:

Grrrr this is a sore subject for me since i'm overseas and i don't even get to see my viper but maybe 1 month out of the year :(
Since i've owned my car for 1 year and 2 months, i have only driven it 1 1/2 months a total of 2,500 miles. I drive the S**T out of it when i'm home lol.
BUT come Dec 15th, 2007 i will be racking up the miles. SO i guess my baby constitutes as a garage queen right now? :(

Na, it's only a garage queen if it sits there by CHOICE, and you have to polish it with spit and a diaper, of course!

Trivial pursuit: at 250 a week that's $83.33 in premium fuel @$3 a gallon. $333.33 per month or $4,000 a year for gas total. This thread just keeps revealing more quirky calcs.

Year one 1200 miles, this year 130. The purchase of my SRT-10 Ram has a little to do with the lower miles this year. I figured when I bought the car it would be 500-1000 miles per year. So I guess it all averages out to about 15 per week which includes 0 miles over a 4-5 month span in the winter.

The Ram is always going to get more miles as it is a little more practical, meaning it can be a grocery getter :) Plus the Ram is going to get all mods, within two years it will be a supercharged beast.

Just staying in town and doing my normal routine stuff, I'd say 75-100 miles a week, but I love taking my car on trips, so those weeks the miles can really add up. I've put 12k on it in 15 months, and its mainly a weekend play toy with an occasional drive or two during the week
