This is probably the older obsolete unit that was replaced by the newer Battery Tender Plus, but for that price you can't go wrong.

Hey Jerry,

I know that you have previsouly recommended the Deltran battery tender. As you know, I recently replace the battery in my 94 with the Optima red top and am going to buy a battery tender. How do you think this battery tender from Harbor Freight compares to the Deltran? Seems to be less $$$. Thanks for your advice

Kurt, If it's not a Deltran then I would not buy it. Some of the other battery chargers do not cut off properly and will over charge the battery, causing an early failure.
