I bought a 95 rt10 that was crashed and fixed. The right rear wheel is about one inch closer to the forward wheel well than the left. This causes some torque steer while on the gas , (I think). It looks like the right rear control arm mount is bent and possibly the control arm and the forward mount also. How do I find out what is bent and fix it? How much torque steer is normal? What could be other causes for the wheels to be different distances from the forward wheel well and body. I love this car and want to fix it properly. ( I also need a top.) M.R.

Unbelievable that any car in this age of technology, let alone a Viper could get out of a body shop with the wrong frame dimensions!

Find a large body shop that has a Laser Equipped alignment wrack.WIth this unit there can be NO operator error. Contrary to street talk, the frames and components can be corrected to the minimal standards of OEM or better.

They will be able to tell you how much frame damage, if any was done, or done incorrectly. They will also be able to determine if it is nothing more than a control arm being bent out of shape.

Usual cost for a full frame inspection is somewhere in the neighborhood of $125.00 to $175.00, at least in our area.

Keep us posted please, I'd like to know what you find out.
