2k more. I thought you could get Atras for about $3200-$3500. Find me some forgelines for 1500 and sign me up.

I wouldnt think so, my Astras look incredible, I have had ppl ask me what kind of wheels they are and completely disregard the rest of the car.

If you are going to be tracking the car at all I would really push you towards the Forgeline as they have "proven" there worth on the track with the Viper community time and time again. The iForged???? um not so much, but they do have bling. IMO.

IMO the Viper deserves Forgeline. I did a lot of research before I bought my Forgelines and after I finished the Forgelines are worht their price. I guess you get what you pay for. I will never put on a wheel from a company that has never done any racing or are being used by race clubs on car that can do +180 MPH. :D

Explaining Viper things to you

So you are saying they are dangerous to be driving with then? I have iForged and have driven them at *** speeds. So according to you then because they are not raced or used by race clubs they should not be used at all? I mean, they are either completely safe or they are not. Which is it?

And that is stupid to think they aren't safe. You know and I know that they are not dangerous wheels to drive with on a Viper.

They guy is looking for street wheels. Read his posts. I would not spend $2K more for something that statistically has no merit.

Dave,

I am not saying that Iforge are not safe for street use, but you do realize that by saying for street use it means following the all the rules of the road and traffic which does not include any spirited drving and the occasional day at the track.

The wheel rep that sold me my Forgelines also sells Iforge, Asanti, BBS, HRE, and a whole lot more other brands. But his first question to me was, If I was planning to do any type of racing I should stick to Forglines, HRE, or BBS brands. After all we are talking about a Viper not a Civic right? According the wheel sales rep and his 25 years of selling performance wheels all of the other brands are more for show and racing would void their warranty.

IMO, if a performance wheel manufacture does not put his product out on race track you should ask yourself why not?

A street wheel has to hold up to crappy roads with potholes. A race wheel does not. For that reason one could argue that a street wheel needs to be more durable than a race wheel. Dunno, but it is a good argument.

Regardless, I'll stick with the companies that support my sport. CCW, Forgeline, BBS.

In that case I would look seriously at CCWheel. They make a very strong wheel and John Purner will give you the best customer service you've ever had.
