AT 24 PSI my BFGs hooked worse than my radials, 1.9 60 ft, at 20 PSI better but I still had a lot of wheel spin with a best 60 ft in the 1.8s, at 17.5 PSI they hooked hard, I would do a hard burn out, no power braking, and I pulled 1.6s 60 ft all day long. With a line lock should be able to get the short time into the 1.5s. At 17.5 the tires look pretty low, but they seemed to work the best. All of these pressures were with relatively cool tires.

I agree with fuel man, I had a terrible day hooking up with those drag radials until I dropped them to about 18 psi. The less pressure the better...until they come off the rims! Of course you need to be careful because it will feel like your swiming around on balloons.

Rich, I ran mine at 17 at the V10 Nats and that worked pretty good. I felt like I needed to go lower. Next time I will try 15 to 16. The BFG rep said adjust anywhere from 14 to 20 at the strip with a 2 to 3 second burnout. They don't require much to get them to hook. I was leaving the line around 3500 to 3800 and the tires were bogging my stock Viper. Definetly need to give the car more gas off the line.

I loaned my set to Fuelman @ V- 10 Nationals , he conquered them quickly....by running a 11.13. I use mine as daily driver tires now, because my Pilots no longer provide good traction. I have been very impressed by them.

jsmith; do you have line lock?

No I don't. I have only been to the strip twice in 2 years so it's not that important to me, but it would simplify the burnout some.

At the V10 Nats I just backed into the waterbox, spun the tires a little and then pulled out of the box. Then I just revved it up and dumped the clutch and quickly hit the brake and I had no problem as long as there was water on the tires.

I know everyone really enjoys the lineloc and I'm sure I would also, but it's just not worth it to me.

Can't wait to hear your times with the new tires. Enjoy.
