I've not yet bled my brake fluid, but would like to. What equipment do you use to bleed the brakes? I've read about both pressure bleeders and vacuum bleeders, but would like to know which is preferred. Also, is there a brand or adaptor that is Viper friendly?

Thanks

It sounds kind of cheap but I had great results several months ago with a one-man brake bleeder kit from AutoZone. The kit was around $8, I didn't need any help and it worked great.

On a non-ABS car, you should be able to gravity bleed the brakes without any problems. Just leave the reservoir cap off, open a bleed screw and the fluid should flow out on its own by gravity, no pumping nesessary. This is always the safest way to bleed, as you do not risk the possibility of inducing air into the system. Sometimes on ABS cars, you will need to pressure bleed the rears, but the fronts usually gravity bleed themselves.
