Terrific write-up!

Much better, much more objective than anything I read in the auto rags such as Car & Weenies, etc.

No ******** about the lack of cupholders, just an observation about it.

This is my favorite part of the article and I know that your good friend Chuck will wholeheartedly agree:

"Though there is a purity to its power, and I understand a purist's argument that if you can claim to handle a 600- horsepower vehicle, you should have to do it in a world without electronic gizmos fixing your mistakes. Take ownership of that power, or don't drive it at all".

So true!

Good write up, but does this quote look right to you guys????:

I'm on a deserted road very early in the morning, idling my tyrannosaurus. It's really quiet out here. I put my left foot to the brake, the right to the accelerator, and bump the RPMs up. The cab begins shaking and the engine roar bleeds into my ears. I let off the brake and go full on the accelerator.

Sounds to me like he is driving an automatic. What do you think?

My thoughts exactly. Maybe he realy meant he had his left foot on the clutch..., or maybe he was just making that whole bit up because he thought it would sound good to the masses.

When flying I was flying out to the Officers meeting in Arizona, I picked up the Continental in flight magazine and they had a nice article on the '08 too.

I believe if you go to Continentals site there is a link to the magazine.
